Two motorbikes with pillion passengers crash into car at freeway intersection



FOUR people are in Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries after a crash between two motorcycles and a car in Success yesterday.



About 11.20am, a Harley Davidson and a Yamaha motorcycle were travelling together westbound on Russell Road. Both motorcycles had pillion passengers.


At the same time, a Mazda CR-7 was travelling east on Russell Road.


The Mazda was making a right-hand turn on to the Kwinana Freeway southbound entrance when the two motorcycles also entered the intersection.


The intersection is controlled by traffic lights.


All three vehicles collided and both riders and their passengers were hospitalised with serious injuries.


Major Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash or saw the


Mazda or the motorcycles before to the crash.
