The CARS Tour has made the switch to the Hoosier 37-190F45 RS effective immediately. It’s debut will take place at Concord Speedway at CARS’ next event on August 29. CARS had been on the American Racer tire.

The new tire compound will be used on the left and right side and will be the tire of choice for the Late Model Stock and Super Late Model divisions.

“After much consideration for our competitors, fans, and the overall health of the tour we felt this is a necessary change moving forward. Our competitors are more familiar with the Hoosier Racing Tire product line, and have been vocal about their desire to utilize it in competition,” explained CARS Tour Owner, Jack McNelly.

As of now the Hoosier 37-190F45 RS looks to be a patch for most of the remainder of the season as CARS plans tire tests to search for a long-term solution. They hope to debut a new tire at the series finale on November 1 at Hickory Motor Speedway.
