The Honda Motors on Friday announced that CBR 150R and CBR 250R models that have been manufactured between July 2014 to June 2015 in India would be recalled. The process would start from mid week of August as a measure to recheck and replace the starter relay switch if it belongs to the defective lot.
The relay switch was seen to be defective on the very first instance. This can also increase the resistance across main fuse interrupting the motorcycle’s battery voltage to the electrical system. This means that all the defective Hondas would need to be rechecked for any kind of flaws.
All the bikes would be collected from the manufacturer and then the sealant would be replaced. The part would be replaced free of cost irrespective of the warranty status. This initiative is definitely destined to be good for all the Honda users.
An interruption in the battery voltage could also cause the engine to not start while riding and the starter could catch fire in the process. . Honda would also be committed to the customers with this initiative.
