Two motorcycles collided on Interstate 30 south of Malvern on Sunday morning, killing one of the drivers.
According to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report, separate motorcycles driven by Ranthony L. Ward, 30, and Justin R. Lofton, 23, both of Hot Springs, were westbound on Interstate 30 near the 95-mile marker in Hot Spring County about 2:05 a.m.
The vehicles collided and slid several feet before catching fire.
Ward died at the scene. Lofton was taken to Christus-St. Vincent Medical Center in Hot Springs.
Trooper Joshua Whitney investigated the accident.
The weather was clear and the road was dry when the wreck happened.
