FLINT, MI — Classic rock blared from speakers near the intersection of Saginaw and Kearsley streets in downtown Flint Sunday afternoon as a parade of motorcycles hummed by, some revving their engines to the delight of the crowd.
The Bikes on the Bricks event concluded the last of its three-day run for the 2015 edition, but not without some final burnt rubber, along with oohs and ahhs from those perusing hundreds of vehicles lined up and down Saginaw Street.
Vendors sold hot dogs and drinks down side streets, along with leather bags, jackets sported by many in the throng, and helmets with differing designs and colors before filtering out in later in the day.
Here’s a look at the sights and sounds, including a procession of motorcycles down the bricks as spectators snapped photos and rolled video, a state police trooper showing off his skills in the flat lot and others checking out some gear.
