Kawasaki’s Ninja models debuted in America when the Ninja 600 first hit the scene in 1985. The Ninja name would spread to other sportbike designs in the Japanese manufacturer’s lineup, from the entry-level Ninja 250 up to the massive ZX-14. In the 600 Supersport ranks Kawasaki introduced the ZX-6R in 1995 and has kept the model in production ever since, at various displacements from 599cc to its current 636cc form.
