Mustangs from almost every year will be present in the timeline, giving American muscle fans the unique opportunity to see the Mustang’s evolution in one place. Examples of the earliest first generation Mustangs of 1964 right through to the latest available models have already signed up for the display, with only seven of the 50 years yet to be finalised.

Some of the rarest Mustangs in the UK will be among the timeline display, including an ultra-scarce 1986 Fox-body Mustang. Not only will cars from each year be on display but va rious models too, from convertibles, Fastbacks and more.

The timeline, which has been compiled with the help of the Mustang Owners Club of Great Britain, will be the centrepiece of the American car owners’ display, which is expected to number over 1,000 vehicles. The display was one of the most popular attractions at the inaugural event in June last year and this year’s is set to be even bigger, with 4x4s, vans and Harley-Davidsons also making their presence felt.

Joining the classic and modern American muscle display will be a collection of historic race cars, including Indy Car and F5000 race winners, along with NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series machines. Cars from legendary Hollywood movies will be present too.

Away from the car displays, the whole family will be entertained at Brands Hatch by great live bands, monster trucks, mountainboard ‘Big Air’ shows and much more. On the track, the only NASCAR series outside of the Americas, the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, headlines the bill, joined by classic V8s from Bernie’s V8s, a special Can-Am sportscar race and American-styled pickups. Legendary Sky Sports anchorman Kevin Cadle will host proceedings.
