There are a little more than a handful of episodes remaining for AMC’s hit series “Mad Men.” With the end so close at hand, there are plenty of spoilers and leaks surfacing about the final episodes, according to iDigitalTimes.

There were early rumors that the 1969 Manson family murders were going to play a part in the series, but that has proven to be false. However, there will be plenty of dates and new fashion, and each of the final seven episodes will focus on a character. Additionally, it’s been revealed that Ginsberg is suffering from schizophrenia, Betty might be on the road to becoming a feminist activist, and, of course, fans should be prepared for an unexpected ending.

Speaking of spoilers, John Slattery (Roger Sterling) recently sat down with Esquire and discussed his character’s run in the series and the end of the show. “When I read the final script I was surprised, but it made sense. Matt [Weiner] did a good job of leaving everyone where they should be,” Slattery said.

One aspect of the show that fans are eager to see unfold is the new ’70s-inspired fashion. Slattery talked about Roger’s fashion this season, saying “The late-Sixties was quite a peacock-y time for men’s clothes, which is perfect for him. You can picture him looking through a magazine and thinking, ‘Finally! Finally, I get to wear an ascot!"”

John was tight-lipped about any leaks in the last episodes, but he did reminisce about what it has been like playing Roger in the series. “Playing a character with such a sense of humor, someone so confident in his ability to turn a phrase, has been a real pleasure. It’s been an amazing ride,” he said.

The final episodes of “Mad Men” air Sunday nights on AMC.

Tell us! How do you think the show should end?
