Men's health seminars set in Sun City, SCW

When it comes to going to the doctor, many men would rather wait for their health to deteriorate than to seek routine preventative care.

Banner Health, in conjunction with Spirit of Women, will host two events in the West Valley in June with focus on men’s health and the importance of encouraging them to see their doctor and get recommended health screenings and assessments.

The schedule:

• 1 to 3 p.m. June 11 at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center, Auditorium A/B, 14502 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City West.

• 1 to 3 p.m. June 30 at Banner Boswell Medical Center,

Memorial Hall Support Services Building, 13180 N. 103rd Drive, Sun City.

This informative seminar will also focus on the leading causes of death in men such as heart disease, cancer and accidents or injuries.

Each seminar participant will receive a comprehensive easy-to-understand Men’s Health & You fact sheet.

This seminar is free and open to the public, but space is limited.
