    Features

The Gyro has a 4V MAX lithium-ion rechargeable battery capable of holding a charge for up to 18-months. The charging slot is conveniently placed on the bottom of the handle and out of the way if the user needs to charge the tool and use it at the same time.

The Gyro has the ability to operate at 180 revolutions per minute and apply 35 inches per pound in torque while screwdriving. Depending on how steep the user turns the Gyro after activating the screwdriver, the gyroscopic technology will control the speed of the screw bit. The user needs only to rotate their wrist one-quarter turn to the right for a clockwise motion or left for a counter-clockwise motion. The Gyro also has the ability to fluidly change from clockwise to counter-clockwise, or vice versa. For added functionality, the Gyro also comes equipped with a bright, white, LED light that will illuminate where the user is aiming.

    Versatility

The Gyro, while simplistic and small in design, is versatile and functional in use. Although the Gyro only comes with two standard screwdriving bits, it has the ability to accept many other standard bits, making it a perfect tool for many screwdriving needs. The Gyro’s small design also makes it ideal for use in tight or cramped spaces, where other larger screwdrivers may not fit. Additionally, the small size combined with its long charge time affords the user the ability to store the Gyro almost anywhere.

Yowza! World's Fastest Electric Motorcycle Revs Up

I hope whoever is riding around on the world’s fastest electric motorcycle is wearing the world’s safest helmet, because this sucker can fly! With a 200 horsepower engine and 168 lb.ft of torque — almost twice what the Ducati Panigale has — the Lightning LS-218 is appropriately named. Right now, it’s the fastest electric motorcycle on the planet.

    Top 10 Fastest Electric Vehicles

Last October we heard from San-Francisco-based Mission Motors, who was planning to roll out a street-legal version of their Mission R and Mission RS motorcycles, which the company said could go 150 miles per hour. Looks like they’ve already been trumped by Lightning Motorcycles.

Last year, the LS-218 won the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with a 20-second victory. Over the weekend, it showed up at the Quail Motorsport Gathering in Carmel, Calif.

World’s Most Advanced Electric Superbike: Big Pics

The  495-pound motorcycle has a direct drive system, which means no clutch or transmission. Customers will have a couple of different options for battery power, from 12 kWh to 20 kWh, which has a range of 180 miles. With just a 30-minute charge, we may see start seeing more speed freaks on two wheels than on four. Zoom, zoom.
