Down Among The Dead Men

The CD includes 11 songs by, for and about pirates: sea shanties, drinking songs, Celtic ballads, and Irish pub songs. There are songs about legendary pirates, regular sailors and beautiful women. It begins with the rousing shipboard song, “Fire Marengo,” and includes the well-known “Dead Man’s Chest,” also known as “Yo Ho Ho and a Bottle of Rum.” The CD ends with the hauntingly beautiful “Parting Glass.”
