A motorcyclist was injured in a suspected drunken driving crash early Monday morning, according to a release from the Green County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to the intersection of State Highway 81 and State Highway 11 in the town of Decatur at 1:26 a.m. on a report of a crash.
Investigators said two motorcyclists were traveling north on Highway 81 on separate motorcycles when the motorcycle driven by Richard John Fallat Jr. 58, of Juda, failed to stop and collided with a traffic sign. He was ejected from his motorcycle and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Janesville.
Fallat was arrested on suspicion of first-offense operating while intoxicated and cited for failure to maintain control and operating a motorcycle without motorcycle endorsement.
The other motorcycle rider was also arrested on suspicion of fourth-offense OWI, according to deputies.
