Albany motorcycle club spreads holiday cheer

ALBANY, GA (WALB) –

An Albany motorcycle club is spreading holiday cheer to families in need.

The Viper Unit Motorcycle Club packed up boxes and gifts for their 8th annual Christmas giveaway in Albany.
Members collected food and toys to be put in Christmas baskets for seven families in need.
Each child is receiving at least five toys.

“As a whole we take great pride in doing charity throughout the community that’s part of our goal,” said Marvin Thomas, Viper Unit President. “We don’t want to just ride motorcycles. We want to be able to do some positive things in the community to keep the community’s spirits up.”

The Club also provided the same seven families with Thanksgiving Day meals.
